What is Hope?

Touring UK schools for the past twelve years, ‘Hope’ is a “Contemporary and Powerful” production that combines music and drama. It tells the story of three young people who are all affected by bullying in different ways.

The Performance

The play, expertly delivered by professional actors, is informative, thought-provoking and entertaining

"Hope" is the story of a beautiful and successful pop star returning to the town where she grew up for the first time in years. A chance encounter between her and an old school acquaintance brings back painful memories of her childhood and the systematic abuse and bullying she suffered at the hands of a classmate. It is a story of courage, self-empowerment and redemption.

Participatory Workshop

Numbers permitting, the production can be followed by up to two participatory workshops that encourage pupils to use decision making skills and ultimately decide the outcome of the play.

Follow-up Work

We supply differentiated worksheets that all pupils can use as subsequent follow-up material.  Completing the worksheets isn't mandatory, but they do provide a good spring board into creating meaningful discussion about the issues raised.
