Hope has been produced by the Take Away Theatre Company since 2007.
We are a Theatre in Education ( TIE ) company delivering high impact, entertaining drama projects in schools throughout the UK. Our anti bullying production 'Hope' has been touring UK schools for over 10 years. We are also one of the UK's leading providers of School Pantomimes. WORKSHOP LEADER
Lee trained at the prestigous Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and has worked extensively as a professional actor in the UK and abroad. Highlights include touring Europe with TNT Theatre's highly acclaimed production of A Christmas Carol, and, more recently, the UK tour of 'A Dash Through Dickens'. He has vast experience as a workshop leader having worked in over 2000 schools!. Lee also worked as a drama consultant for the Children's Parliament of Scotland. Directing highlights for the take away theatre company include: 'Hope' (the UK's most perfomed Anti Bullying Production), 'Tam O'Shanter' and 'During the War...'
Hazel May MacGregor

WORKSHOP LEADER
Hazel graduated from Langside College in 2005 with an HND in Acting and Performance. Since then she has worked extensively for several TIE and other theatre companies touring the UK and abroad. She is also experienced in screen acting having performed in a number of short films. As well as performing, Hazel is involved with “Stagerite Expressive Arts” in a directorial and script writing capacity and also as a mentor for young actors for companies such as ‘The Elma Whyte School of Dance’. Hazel has a passion for music and enjoys singing, drumming and her new hobby - playing the guitar. Hazel has performed in several productions for the Take Away Theatre Company and is also the companies production manager.
Reeves Peterson
WRITER
Reeves Peterson is a writer, comedian and songwriter. Reeves has been a finalist in You Must Be Joking, won the Comedy Café New Acts and became the first English speaking comedian to headline the Suomen Stand Up Club Helsinki, Finland. In the summer of 2007 he was invited to compere the mainstage at the Poole Park Festival in front of 5000+ people. Reeves is a regular guest on 102.3 2CRFM (gcapmedia) where he writes and performs topical songs for Richie and Caroline at Breakfast. Reeves has written the plays One Night In Helsinki, Green Fingers and the radio play Sammy and Mikey. He also has a number of other writing projects in the pipeline including a musical.
